3M 6502QL Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece, Medium

Despite the fact that the 6502QL is 3M's lightest silicone facepiece, it is highly resilient and can operate for long hours under extreme conditions. It features a proprietary quick latch, which makes it easy to drop down the respirator from face without removing head straps. The quick latch also eliminates the need to remove the hardhat or faceshield when lowering or raising the respirator. When properly used, it helps provide respiratory protection at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). The mask features two innovative valves that prevent fogging and make breathing easier: one valve that directs exhaled breath downward, and 3M’s proprietary Cool Flow Valve (TM) that reduces heat and moisture. Made to fit securely and comfortably on the head, the facepiece comes with an adjustable head harness assembly featuring long-lasting polyester/spandex straps that stretch and conform to the individual who wears the respirator. The low-profile design prevents obstruction of view, and makes it possible to comfortably wear different types of faceshields. This facepiece is compatible with all 3M bayonet-style filters and cartridges, including 6000 Series Cartridges and 3M 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series Filters, to help provide respiratory protection against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals.
